Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of electrical lineworker experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean record.
• Current DOT physical and safety-sensitive requirements.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent oral, written, and auditory communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Teach all assigned courses for the full duration of scheduled instruction.
• Deliver instruction in overhead and underground electrical distribution systems and related equipment.
• Facilitate hands-on training in lab and field environments with safety-focused practice.
• Model and enforce OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
• Prepare students for industry credentials (OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, etc.).
• Evaluate student performance via assessments and demonstrations.
• Collaborate with local employers for needs assessments.
• Plan and deliver training in line construction, maintenance, and de-energized line work.
• Maintain records of attendance, progress, certifications, and compliance.
