Job summary

Flagger Force, LLC is seeking a Field Trainer 2 to lead classroom and on-the-job training, coaching, and development of field staff, while upholding safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes field instruction mastery and student engagement, with duties split about evenly between classroom and field settings across the Bloomington, IN area.

Responsibilities include hands-on training, performance evaluation, and career development guidance, along with travel requirements and collaboration

Qualifications

• Expert hands-on field training techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must hold all required Department of Transportation qualifications for assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert hands-on and classroom training ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Identify and support student career development and coaching.
• Maintain high student engagement with interactive teaching methods.
• Train approximately 50% of monthly assignments in the classroom and 50% on the job.
• Administer hands-on training for various courses and ensure practical application of skills.
• Test and evaluate students, record grades, and dismiss non-eligible students.
• Monitor student engagement and learning levels across classes.
• Identify potential instructor candidates and assist in developing junior instructors.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom and inventory of materials.
• Provide field on-the-job training as needed, ~50% of assignments.
• Complete BWZ checks and support training team.
