Job summary

Dynalectric Arizona in Mesa, AZ seeks a Field Training Facilitator to train and identify skills for craft labor in the electrical industry and to educate and support the next generation of electricians.

The role involves onboarding, CW Boot Camp evaluation, and close coordination with Field Operations to plan training, while promoting safety and learning across project sites. Spanish is preferred but not required in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong field supervisory experience (5+ years as General Foreman or higher) or 5 years of electrical training.
• Understanding of training processes and learning methods.
• Fluent in Spanish preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and pre-planning abilities.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and their practical application.
• Proficient skills with Microsoft 365 software suite, Bluebeam and Navisworks.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to employee safety.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments in the company.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Reliable self-starter.
• Preferred knowledge of IBEW Local 640 processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with Dynalectric HR, Division Managers, and Field Operations Superintendent to ensure craft labor onboarding and training is consistent with company needs.
• Facilitate the CW Boot Camp evaluation – a 2-day evaluation of all CWs before dispatch to a jobsite.
• Coordinate with Field Operations Superintendent on training dates and candidate numbers.
• Weekly coordination with Field Operations Superintendent and Field Supervisors to identify future training needs.
• Promote safety culture and identify safety training needs with Area Safety Manager.
• Collaborate with Field Operations Superintendent on site visits and training needs.
• Assist in deployment of companywide initiatives for craft labor.
• Facilitate Field Supervision training in main office or onsite.
• Gather feedback surveys after training for entry into the training database.
• Assist in union new hire interview process to identify qualified individuals.
• Identify training programs for new hires and align with site roles.
• Help develop hands-on training courses (underground construction, temp power, conduit bending, etc.).
• Provide direction and logistics for training tools and equipment.
• Support understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC) when necessary.
• Facilitate training of basic software use and company processes.
