Job summary

TeleWorld Solutions in the United States seeks a Field Technician III to install, configure, and commission telecom equipment across multiple field sites. You will troubleshoot complex network infrastructure, support upgrades, and ensure safety and quality standards.

As a senior member of the field operations team, you will mentor junior technicians, interpret engineering drawings, and collaborate with engineering and NOC teams to maintain network performance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Telecommunications, Electronics, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5–8 years of telecommunications field operations experience.
• Strong experience with wireless networks, fiber optics, transport equipment, and IP networking.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and installation documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission telecommunications equipment including wireless network infrastructure, routers, switches, and related hardware.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network performance issues, equipment failures, and integration challenges.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and performance verification to ensure proper network functionality.
• Support network upgrades, expansions, and maintenance activities across multiple field locations.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and installation documentation to ensure accurate system implementation.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and NOC teams to resolve technical issues and maintain operational continuity.
• Perform equipment integration, software upgrades, and configuration updates as required.
• Document installation activities, test results, and troubleshooting actions in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and company operational policies.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to Field Technician I and II team members.
