Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. is seeking experienced Field Technicians to join the Underground Utilities, Land Surveying, and Mapping team in Pittsburgh. This position involves locating subsurface utilities, field investigations, and related fieldwork with occasional travel.

Applicants should have 5+ years of field experience, strong math skills, and familiarity with total stations, data collectors, and GPS. Immigration sponsorship is limited to TN visa eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations.
• Operate equipment to locate & mark subsurface utilities.
• Label topographic features from field codes.
• Perform calculations and prepare reports.
• Assist with training SUE staff in field methods and safety procedures.
• Travel as required.
