Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Technician to lead concrete testing and special inspection on major structural projects. You will mentor junior technicians, interface with engineers and officials, and own the project records with a focus on accuracy and defensibility.

You’ll coordinate with superintendents, perform inspections under IBC programs, and travel for defined projects across multiple states as required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CMT or special inspection experience.
• Active certifications: NICET II+, ICC RC or Soils, or ACI field.
• Willing to travel for defined project programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead fresh-concrete testing and special inspection on structural work.
• Perform and document inspections per project IBC special inspection programs.
• Mentor and check junior field technicians; coordinate with superintendents and engineers.
• Support multi-state deployments on a project basis.
