Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Technician to lead fresh-concrete testing and IBC special inspections on structural work, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance for major projects.

You will mentor junior technicians, coordinate daily with engineers and officials, and support multi-state deployments, owning the testing record from start to finish on demanding builds.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CMT or special inspection experience.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete or Soils, NICET Level II+, or ACI certifications.
• Own the testing record on major placements and travel for defined project programs.
• Willing to travel for defined project programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead fresh-concrete testing and special inspection on structural work.
• Perform and document inspections per project IBC special inspection programs.
• Mentor and check junior field technicians; coordinate daily with superintendents, engineers, and officials.
• Support multi-state industrial deployments on a project basis.
• Drive quality and reliability of records during audits and field operations.
