Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Technician to lead fresh-concrete testing and IBC-aligned special inspections on major structural work. You will mentor junior technicians, coordinate with engineers and officials, and own the project record across multi-state deployments.

You will manage testing on mat pours, post-tensioned decks, and deep foundation observation, ensuring documentation remains defensible and complete for audits and approvals. Travel to job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CMT or special inspection experience.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete or Soils, NICET II+, or ACI certifications.
• Willing to travel for defined project programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead fresh-concrete testing and special inspection on structural work.
• Perform and document inspections per project IBC special inspection programs.
• Mentor and check junior field technicians.
• Coordinate daily with superintendents, engineers, and officials.
• Support multi-state industrial deployments on a project basis.
