Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a senior technician to lead pours and special inspections on major structural projects. You will mentor junior technicians, interface with engineers and building officials, and own the quality of the project record on high-stakes sites.

You will perform and document inspections per IBC special inspection programs, coordinate with superintendents, and support multi-state deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CMT or special inspection experience.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete or Soils, NICET II+, or ACI certifications.
• Willing to travel for defined project programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead fresh-concrete testing and special inspection on structural work.
• Mentor junior field technicians and coordinate daily with superintendents, engineers, and officials.
• Support multi-state industrial deployments on a project basis.
• Maintain meticulous, defendable records and ensure compliance with IBC special inspection programs.
