Job summary

Bailey Equipment and Intralogistics is seeking a Lead Technician to execute complex repairs and lead regional projects across the territory. This senior, hands-on role focuses on Bailey forklifts, telematics installations, and high-impact field work, with billing of time to customer work orders.

The Lead Technician will mentor technicians, assist with hiring and onboarding, and coordinate diverse regional tasks. Extensive travel, strong diagnostic abilities, and safety leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Forklift certification provided by Bailey.
• Technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs preferred.
• Advanced OEM master certification, Logisnext preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly handle the most challenging technical jobs in the region, including diagnostics and repairs.
• Bill out time for customer-facing repairs to maximize Labor Efficiency Rate.
• Identify root causes and safety issues from customers, technicians, and Service Managers.
• Lead regional special projects: large-scale repairs, rollouts, pilots, telematics, & process improvements.
• Train, mentor, and support technicians across the region, on-site or remotely.
