Bailey is seeking a Forklift Technician to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment, perform repairs, and carry out scheduled maintenance for forklift fleets. You will respond to customer needs with a focus on safety and efficiency, using proper PPE and tools.

Qualifications

• Technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic and repair skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in the field.
• Safe work habits and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic inspections as directed and identify the cause of failure.
• Perform repairs or provide recommendations using appropriate tools and PPE.
• Maintain a clean work area and restore to pre-repair condition.
• Maintain detailed records for time, parts, supplies and repairs for billing.
• Notify management of repair needs or replacements for tools/equipment.
• Participate in training and safety programs to avoid expirations of licenses.
• Represent Bailey professionally and maintain clean vehicles/work areas.
• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.
