Job summary

Waukesha-Pearce Industries seeks a Lead Service Technician Journeyman to supervise two or more technicians and provide diagnosis and repair of heavy equipment. You will schedule work, monitor quality, and maintain strong customer relations while guiding a team of technicians.

Responsibilities include fabricating and installing parts, diagnosing engine and driveline issues, servicing transmission systems, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; accredited trade school preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction/mining machinery industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee two or more Service Technicians and coordinate work.
• Troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment; diagnose malfunctions.
• Repair track drive components, hydrostatic transmissions, and engines; overhaul components as needed.
• Read manuals and schematics; operate diagnostic and tuning equipment.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure quality control; train junior technicians.
