Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an ES Field Technician III to support emergency response operations and hazardous and non-hazardous spill cleanup. The role involves supervising others when needed, guiding less experienced teammates, and handling equipment like vacuum trucks and forklifts.

Key responsibilities include conducting decontamination work, performing DOT inspections, and maintaining logs. A strong safety focus and ability to work varied shifts are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, drum handling and decontamination.
• Respond to customer spills and emergencies during and after hours.
• Maintain equipment and site housekeeping.
• Operate roll-off, vacuum, box trucks and other equipment.
• Conduct pre/post-trip DOT inspections and log maintenance.
• Provide information and respond to questions from management and customers.
• Prepare daily reports and regulatory documentation as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
