Ideal candidates have at least 10 years of field experience in civil infrastructure, strong knowledge of field operations, and the ability to travel regionally with overnight stays. We value safe work practices and effective communication.

Geospatial Senior Field Technician

CobbFendley is seeking an experienced Geospatial Senior Field Technician in our Austin, San Antonio & San Marcos office.

Requirements

EDUCATION, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION //

• Highschool diploma, GED, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.

EXPERIENCE + KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITY (KSA)

Proficient //

Solid understanding and substantial experience; works independently and efficiently. 10+ years of Field experience.

• Knowledge of field operations, methods, procedures, safety requirements, and environmental considerations associated with civil infrastructure work in outdoor settings.


• Skills include use of industry-standard tools, equipment, and computer software to perform field tasks, document work, and communicate effectively.


• Ability to safely operate required equipment, travel locally, regionally, and interstate, with occasional overnight stays, and perform work in varying weather, terrain, and environmental conditions.
