Job summary

CobbFendley is seeking a Geospatial Field Technician to join our Austin, San Antonio & San Marcos offices. You will support field data collection, staking, boundary and topographic surveying under supervision, with travel locally and interstate as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of field operations, safety requirements, and environmental considerations.
• Skills to use industry-standard tools and software to document work and communicate.
• Ability to travel locally, regionally, and interstate with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks with supervision and follow procedures.
• Develop foundational field and technical skills.
• Safely operate equipment.
• Travel locally and out of state, including overnights.
• Set up and manage survey points and staking.
• Open manholes and handle utilities tasks.
