Job summary

Tremco CPG Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA seeks an experienced roofing sales/field service professional to lead technical training, support contractors, and drive safe, high-quality roofing projects.

The role requires autonomy, strong product knowledge, and travel within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial roofing sales or technical roles, 2+ years in repair or field service, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; further education preferred.
• 5+ years roofing sales/technical experience; 2+ years repair/field service.
• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems: built-up, modified, single-ply, metal.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe execution and delivery of roofing services.
• Provide technical training sessions in office and field applications.
• Provide hands-on supervision of roof coatings and installation.
• Perform roof inspection reports with condition analysis, photos, and budgets.
• Communicate professionally with customers, Tremco reps and regional managers.
• Complete weekly/monthly reports, proposals and purchase orders.
• Travel within the territory; submit expense reports promptly.
• Pre-project inspections and technical support (peel tests, product recommendations, proper installation).
• Provide ongoing sales support and contractor development as directed by local sales reps.
