Job summary

SKIDATA USA in Missouri is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform field repairs on parking access equipment and related systems in the greater St. Louis area.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, install LAN configurations, and coordinate with upper-level support to ensure customer expectations are met. The role requires driving to customer locations, maintaining inventory in the ERP SNOW system, and performing monthly preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2 years of related field experience.
• Valid driver''s license and ability to drive to field locations.
• Aptitude to learn new technologies and work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform field repairs on parking access and building access systems (software/hardware).
• Troubleshoot and correct problems on devices/equipment down to board level and low voltage.
• Set up and configure SKIDATA network LAN and related devices (router, firewall, etc.).
• Maintain inventory in ERP system (SNOW) and process work orders (parts and labor).
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance (inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment).
• Provide effective customer service to internal and external customers; coordinate with support teams.
