Job summary

DataField Technology Services seeks a skilled Field Service Technician to provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of parking systems. This contract-to-hire role requires independent field work, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent customer service.

You will diagnose issues, document service reports, and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams while maintaining a professional vehicle and appearance.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment and system issues using effective troubleshooting techniques.
• Repair and/or replace defective equipment and components to restore proper system operation.
• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of systems and equipment.
• Provide customers with honest, professional recommendations and solutions.
• Complete service reports, work orders, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch personnel, customer service representatives, and internal team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle.
• Present a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times.
• Assist the Installation Department as needed.
• Support the Sales Team with technical expertise and customer consultations.
• Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and special projects.
