Job summary

HUB Parking Technology in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service and maintain parking and access control hardware and software. The role involves outdoor work, on-call duties, and travel in-state and out-of-state as required.

The ideal candidate has electronics training, knowledge of networking and Windows OS, and can work with proprietary software alongside a team of installation technicians under a Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Electronics technical training or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work on proprietary software and hardware communications.
• Experience with Windows OS and basic networking is preferred.
• Willingness to lift and handle equipment and use hand/power tools.
• Clean driving record and ability to complete OSHA safety courses.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation, service and maintenance for parking and access control hardware and software in the Ft. Myers area.
• Provide support for multiple products and systems.
• Assist in wiring termination, communications setup and testing under supervision of a Project Manager.
• Travel locally and occasionally out of state for installations.
• On-call rotation during nights and weekends.
