You will translate business needs into scalable data protection and cyber-security architectures, guiding migrations and design decisions.

The role requires deep technical expertise, strong communication, and the ability to run discovery workshops, deliver design plans, and mentor teams while traveling up to 60% as needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience.
• Storage, Backup, Virtualization, Linux CLI.
• Cyber-security & cyber resilience experience.
• Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity
• Database protection and recovery.
• Distributed systems expertise.
• Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) experience.
• Layer 2 networking & firewalls knowledge.
• Scripting/Automation experience.
• Visio or equivalent tool experience.
• Excellent communication and project-management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic technical leader for assigned accounts, shaping technical strategy and business outcomes.
• Present Cohesity technology to executives and technical leaders, explaining use cases.
• Conduct discovery workshops to capture objectives, use cases and constraints.
• Develop high-level architectures and design plans, including migration and cutover considerations.
• Lead technical demos and Proofs of Concept with account teams.
• Provide technical inputs for RFPs/RFIs and proposals.
• Coordinate with Product Management and Engineering to reflect customer requirements.
• Mentor SEs and cross-functional teams to maintain technical excellence.
• Act as escalation point for architectural and design decisions.
