Job summary

Intertek-PSI in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician (ACI Certified) to perform field testing of soils and concrete, document results, and support project teams. The role requires an active ACI certification and 2+ years of related experience, alongside a valid driver’s license and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of construction materials testing experience required.
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and REAL ID-compliant ID required.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and perform field testing of soils, concrete, and other construction materials, providing assessments through detailed reporting.
• Utilize project drawings, specifications, and diagrams to perform testing and inspections.
• Follow established methods and procedures to make detailed observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of test results.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project team members.
