Job summary

Intertek-PSI in Shreveport, LA seeks a Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician (ACI Certified) to perform soils, concrete, and related material testing on site. You will follow drawings, document findings, and report comprehensively.

Ideal candidates hold an ACI Grade I certification, 2+ years of field testing experience, and are ready for overtime and relocation support as part of a growing team in the A/E/C industry.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of construction materials testing experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or state ID required.
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I certification required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds frequently and more with assistance.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions; shift flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and perform field testing of soils, concrete, and other construction materials; provide detailed reports.
• Use project drawings, specifications, and diagrams to guide testing and inspections.
• Follow established methods and procedures; observe site activities and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of test results.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project team members.
