Job summary

E-Z Bel Construction, LLC is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations on civil roadway projects in Texas. You will supervise Foremen and crews, ensure safety compliance, drive schedule adherence, and coordinate with inspectors, subcontractors, and project management.

Responsibilities include interpreting plans, enforcing specs, planning sequences of work, and maintaining QA/QC across water, wastewater, drainage, and dry utilities.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of progressive civil construction field experience with superintendent or senior foreman leadership.
• Strong technical expertise in roadway construction, wet utilities, and dry utilities.
• Knowledge of TxDOT and COSA specifications, ADA requirements, and civil QA/QC standards.
• OSHA 30 preferred; excavation/trenching competent person preferred.
• Proficiency with iPad-based field tools and HCSS for time, quantities, and documentation.
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to work nights or weekends as project phasing requires.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily construction activities for roadway, drainage, water, wastewater, and dry utilities.
• Interprets plans and enforces specifications for grading, paving, curbs, sidewalks, and appurtenances.
• Verifies layout, line, grade, elevations, and ADA compliance with Survey.
• Plans sequences of work including excavation, trenching, paving, concrete placement, and backfill.
• Resolves field conflicts and ensures QA/QC, safety, and documentation readiness.
• Directs complex or high-risk operations and maintains jobsite safety culture.
• Maintains daily logs, production reports, and coordinates with inspectors and clients.
