Job summary

Kiewit’s South Central District seeks a Superintendent to serve as on-site representative and primary contact for construction activities across Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise field operations such as scheduling, material control, and the day‑to‑day direction of field personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ work experience in the construction industry with supervisory exposure.
• Experience managing multiple grading crews and field operations.
• Ability to read design data and communicate with management.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site team, define work breakdown and schedule.
• supervise safety, quality, subcontractor performance, and costs.
• Evaluate progress against contract, design data, and budgets.
• Provide safety coaching and enforce compliance.
• Monitor crew structure, size, and wage compliance.
• Plan staffing, facilities, equipment, and tools.
