E-Z Bel Construction, LLC is seeking a Signals Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations for traffic signal, ITS, and related underground/overhead construction projects in Texas. You will ensure safe execution, quality control, and schedule adherence across Foremen and crews.

Responsibilities include interpreting plans, coordinating with Survey/PM, and directing complex field operations while maintaining QA/QC and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of progressive traffic signal or related electrical/civil construction field experience.
• Strong knowledge of TxDOT, COSA, COA, NEC, MUTCD and QA/QC requirements.
• Ability to read plans, wiring diagrams, cabinet drawings, specifications, traffic control plans, and construction schedules.
• OSHA 30 preferred; IMSA certifications preferred.
• Proficiency with iPad-based field tools and HCSS.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily field operations for traffic signal and ITS projects across assigned sites.
• Interprets and enforces plans, wiring diagrams, cabinet drawings, and standards for signal systems.
• Coordinates layouts and field verifications with Survey and Project Management.
• Plans sequencing: trenching, conduit installation, foundations, pole erection, cabling, testing.
• Directs high-risk operations like crane work, night work, and active traffic phasing.
• Ensures QA/QC for foundations, wiring, testing readiness, and final acceptance.
• Maintains safety culture; enforces OSHA, TxDOT, COSA, COA safety standards.
