Job summary

Hedrick Brothers Construction in West Palm Beach, FL, seeks a Superintendent II to independently lead a commercial construction project from mobilization through closeout. You will oversee field operations, safety, quality, and schedule execution while supervising Assistant Superintendents and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Required: 6–10 years of commercial construction, CSI MasterFormat knowledge, OSHA 30-Hour, and a Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–10 years of commercial construction experience or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of CSI MasterFormat divisions and commercial construction practices.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead projects and navigate building codes and regulatory requirements.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification required.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and per contract documents.
• Supervise field personnel, coordinate manpower, and evaluate performance.
• Build and lead trade partner relationships and resolve field issues.
• Manage project startup, closeout activities, and site safety plans.
• Assist with estimating and pricing change orders and small projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with design teams to resolve constructability issues.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, permits, daily reports, and as-built documentation.
