Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on a large or complex project. You will coordinate with owners, architects and engineers, lead multiple superintendents, develop site logistics, schedule critical paths, and manage safety, budgeting, and quality to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

A Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of building experience are required; BIM and Lean methods knowledge is preferred;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; minimum 15 years building construction experience.
• Proficient in BIM and Lean methods for project benefit.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cost control skills.
• Experience coordinating with owners, architects and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with owners/architects/engineers for day-to-day activities.
• Lead, supervise and develop superintendents and staff.
• Develop site setup, logistics plan and work schedules.
• Manage safety program and subcontractor compliance with standards.
• Oversee billing, WIP, and monthly estimates to maintain budget.
• Ensure work complies with contract documents and quality standards.
