Austin Commercial, based in Austin, TX, is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead a $4 billion commercial construction project. You will oversee day-to-day field activities, manage a large staff of employee-owners, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• BS in construction management, construction science, engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training required (may obtain within first year).
• 10+ years of commercial construction field experience, including direct supervisory experience.
• Proficient with reading plans and specs.
• Ability to build and manage multiple high performing teams.
• Authorized to work in the United States; Austin Commercial cannot sponsor.

Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees day-to-day field construction activities on the jobsite.
• Organizes and manages a large project staff with employee-owners.
• In charge of overall safety at a jobsite, including safety plans and procedures.
• Reviews records, submittals, shop drawings, and schedule to determine scope, materials, manpower, etc.
• Plans the layout of the jobsite, initiates startup activities, and coordinates space, utilities, and access.
• Directs field engineers in survey and layout, ensuring correct elevations before foundation work.
