Job summary

DEW Construction seeks a Superintendent with Multifamily and Healthcare experience to lead field activities across DEW and subcontractor teams. You will oversee safety, budget, and schedule adherence while coordinating with the design team and owner throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements include a minimum of 5 years in construction management, experience with healthcare and commercial builds, and strong communication.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of construction management superintendent experience.
Experience building healthcare, commercial, education, industrial and retail projects.
Ability to read drawings and specifications; strong organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication; negotiation skills.
CPR/First Aid certification and OSHA training.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.

Responsibilities

Attend turnover, planning, closeout, and weekly project meetings with subs, vendors, owner, and architect.
Manage field personnel and subcontractors; ensure safety, budget, and schedule goals.
Provide input to customers and maintain positive work relationships.
Oversee safety programs; ensure compliance with OSHA rules and company policies.
Review submittals, budgets, and schedules; cost-code materials invoices.
Coach and mentor DEW staff; support project managers with buyout and procurement.
Prepare CPM/short duration schedules and monthly workforce projections.
Ensure on-site QA/QC and use of construction drawings and specs.
