Job summary

DEW Construction seeks a Superintendent with Multifamily and Healthcare experience to oversee field activities, manage DEW and subcontractors, and ensure contract requirements are met while adhering to safety, budget, and schedule goals on-site.

This role will also manage self-perform work, coordinate planning, and supervise all personnel on-site to deliver projects efficiently and safely while upholding DEW's standards.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Construction Management Superintendent experience.
• Experience building healthcare, commercial, education, industrial, and retail projects.
• Proven ability to read, analyze, and interpret contract drawings and specs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; negotiation skills.
• Experience with CMiC or similar project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field activities of DEW and subcontractors to meet contract requirements.
• Attend turnover, planning, closeout, and weekly project meetings with subs and owner.
• Ensure safety, budget, and schedule goals are achieved on-site.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site personnel and CPM scheduling.
• Review estimates, subcontracts, and budgets; monitor cost codes and invoices.
• Coach and mentor DEW employees; promote continuous improvement and safety.
• Communicate field decisions to all stakeholders and maintain relationships with design teams.
