Job summary

Keller North America, Inc. in Asheville, NC is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead field crews across geotechnical projects. The role focuses on safety, scheduling, and cost-effective delivery, with roughly 80% field work and 20% office tasks.

You will supervise Superintendents, Foremen, and subcontractors, coordinate with the Project Manager, manage risk, and ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and client expectations. Frequent travel is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in supervising construction crews on civil and/or geotechnical construction projects.
• Experience with various drilling techniques and ground improvement methods.
• Good computer skills using MS word, excel and outlook.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Excellent time management, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interface with clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be willing to travel frequently and for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field crews and subcontractors across projects.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on mobilization and demobilization.
• Review project plans, schedules, and resources.
• Track progress and adjust crews as needed.
• Support training and development of field staff.
