Keller North America, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead field operations on a long-term project in Asheville, NC.

This onsite role will oversee superintendents, foremen, and craft crews to complete deep foundations and earth retention work safely, on schedule, and within budget. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Project Manager, managing labor and equipment, and ensuring compliance with plans, geotechnical reports, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in heavy civil or foundation construction.
• Strong experience leading multiple crews and field teams.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop superintendents and foremen.

Responsibilities

• Lead all onsite field operations, including oversight of superintendents, foremen, crafts, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Partner with the Project Manager to build and maintain the project schedule and hit milestones.
• Determine labor, rig, and equipment requirements and resource-load the schedule for foundation and earth retention scopes.
• Track production, cost, and earned value against the budget and flag variances with recovery plans.
• Review and interpret plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and contract documents; ensure field teams build to them.
• Own site safety and compliance with Keller's safety program and OSHA requirements.
• Coordinate daily with GC, owner representatives, engineers, and inspectors on sequencing, access, testing, and QA/QC.
• Manage field issues (differing site conditions, weather delays) and document impacts for change management.
• Recruit, develop, and evaluate superintendents, foremen, and craft, including competency evaluations and training.
• Prepare progress reports and lead regular inspections to ensure quality, safety, and performance.
