Job summary

Structure Tone Boston, part of STO Building Group, seeks a Superintendent with field experience to coordinate and supervise subcontractors on ground-up construction projects in the Boston area.

You will ensure safety, quality control, schedule adherence, and cost efficiency, reporting to the Project Manager; strong communication and leadership are essential for coordinating multiple crews and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years minimum of field experience.
• Experience with supervisory responsibilities as General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project schedules and status reports.
• Oversee field coordination, quality control and daily supervision of subcontractors.
• Review progress with the Project Manager and client representatives.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure tools/equipment are safe to operate.
• Direct subcontractor activities and manage manpower, materials and equipment.
