Job summary

Larry H. Miller Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead day-to-day field execution of commercial, TI, and multifamily projects.

You will manage safety, quality, schedules, subcontractors, and site logistics to deliver projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, estimators, owners, architects, and inspectors; conducting daily site observations; leading meetings; ensuring compliance with plans and codes; and producing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management preferred.
• 5–10+ years of field supervision experience in commercial/TI/multifamily projects.
• Proven experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and complex schedules.
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, scheduling, quality control, safety practices, and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all field operations for commercial, TI, and multifamily projects from mobilization through closeout.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and onsite personnel to ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
• Develop and communicate short- and long-term project schedules with Project Managers.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to resolve schedule, budget, procurement, design, and constructability challenges.
• Plan site logistics, manpower, materials, equipment, and sequencing of work.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions to maintain timelines and budget.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, codes, safety standards.
• Lead meetings (subcontractors, safety, coordination) to maintain alignment.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with municipal agencies and inspectors.
• Review drawings and specs to identify conflicts and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage punch lists and turnover activities for closeout.
• Produce daily reports, progress updates, site photos, and quality documentation.
