Job summary

TMG Construction Corp. seeks a Superintendent I to lead day-to-day field operations on multiple small projects or a large project, from start-up to completion.

You will supervise subcontractors and self-perform staff, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence in a commercial/institutional environment. Responsibilities include establishing look-ahead schedules, maintaining documentation, coordinating inspections, managing contracts, and fostering a professional, solution-oriented team

Qualifications

• A.S. degree in Construction Management or similar field.
• 4–7 years supervising construction on commercial/institutional projects.
• Journeyman status in a building trade (e.g., Carpenter) with 10+ years total.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and common construction software.
• Clean driving record and ability to travel to job sites.
• Current OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications; QCM.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field activities to meet milestones.
• Create and maintain short-interval look-ahead project schedules.
• Promote safety, health, and cleanliness on site.
• Coordinate with management, subcontractors, customers, and peers.
• Administer contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Prepare timecards, field reports, and schedule updates.
