Shield AI is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead technical sales for a flagship aircraft program, interfacing with DoD and international partners. You will translate customer needs into system requirements, shape product roadmaps, and collaborate with leadership to align solutions with mission concepts.

This role requires a proven track record in defense sales, strong presentation skills, and active security clearances or eligibility.

Formación

• 5+ years in technical sales, capture, or engineering in defense or aerospace industries.

Responsabilidades

• Lead pre-sales engagements for a new advanced aircraft platform targeting high-end tactical missions.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across BD, Engineering, and Product to influence product definition and solution alignment.
• Support technical capture for domestic and international opportunities in early acquisition phases (AOAs, RFIs, drafts, white papers).
• Shape and translate customer needs into actionable system requirements, roadmaps, and program strategies.
• Develop technical narratives and lead content development for briefings, RFIs, white papers, and proposals.
• Build and maintain relationships with customer technical stakeholders including U.S. DoD and foreign governments.
• Assess market signals, competitor activity, and technical feasibility to inform investment decisions.
• Represent Shield AI solutions across the pre-sales lifecycle.
