Job summary

Shield AI in the United States is seeking a senior technical sales professional to lead pre-sales efforts for a new aircraft platform. You will collaborate with business development, engineering and product management to shape capability priorities and align solutions with customer CONOPS.

You will develop compelling technical narratives, support domestic and international capture, and maintain relationships with DoD program offices and potential foreign government customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in defense or aerospace sales/capture with DoD exposure.
• Strong presentation and narrative-building for leadership and customers.
• Ability to translate customer needs into system requirements and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for pre-sales engagements on a new aircraft platform.
• Collaborate across BD, Engineering and PM to shape product definition and customer concepts.
• Support technical capture in early acquisition phases (AOAs, RFIs, white papers).
• Translate customer needs into actionable system requirements and program strategies.
• Develop technical narratives and lead content for proposals and briefs.
• Build relationships with customer technical stakeholders, including DoD and foreign governments.
• Assess market signals and competitor activity to inform internal decisions.
• Represent Shield AI across the pre-sales lifecycle.
