Job summary

Ross Environmental Services, Inc. seeks a seasoned Field Services Director to lead the Field Services organization in Ohio.

You will be responsible for safety, compliance, customer service, operational performance, and profitability, while developing strategic growth initiatives and annual operating plans. You will oversee budgets, staffing, and project profitability, ensuring projects are properly scoped, staffed, and executed safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in environmental/industrial services or related field.
• Prior leadership experience with responsibility for operations, employees, financial performance, and growth.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, project profitability, and business financial performance.
• Knowledge of environmental, occupational safety, and transportation regulations (RCRA, OSHA, DOT).
• Ability to lead teams, develop employees, and drive organizational performance.
• Strong business acumen to evaluate operational and financial information and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Field Services with accountability for safety, compliance, service quality, and profitability.
• Develop and execute business plans, budgets, and growth initiatives.
• Oversee Field Services financial performance and resource utilization.
• Plan and execute projects with proper staffing, scheduling, and safety.
• Develop and implement site safety plans and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead business development efforts and manage major bids and customer relationships.
• Build and lead the Field Services organization, including performance management and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, RCRA and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support objectives and resolve issues.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
