Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to perform field service activities at customer sites in Edison, New Jersey. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and diesel equipment, conduct preventative maintenance, and manage parts inventory while ensuring safety and quality at every site.

This role requires 20–80% travel, CDL eligibility potentially, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while collaborating with customers and teams across divisions.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical experience with electrical, mechanical or diesel systems preferred.
• Proven troubleshooting abilities and customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and execute field service activities at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain parts inventory and ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Travel 20–80% as required; work with multiple systems/locations.
