Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Field Service Technician V (Site Lead) to oversee expert maintenance, repair, and installations of complex C-UAS and ISR systems at Englewood, CO and overseas. You will lead technical teams, develop training materials, and ensure mission-ready deployments for DoD programs.

The ideal candidate demonstrates advanced diagnostic skills, leadership, and extensive field experience with aerospace systems, including MX-15 sensors, and demonstrates the ability to travel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced degrees may substitute.
• 5+ years of technician experience in aerospace/defense preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret complex schematics, diagrams, manuals.
• Willing to travel outside CONUS for extended periods.
• Must pass pre-deployment medical and obtain US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, calibration, and repair of WESCAM MX-15 EO/IR sensors with C-UAS integration.
• Configure and troubleshoot complex IP-based C2 networks and data-links.
• Perform advanced electrical maintenance and wiring; read DoD schematics.
• Lead field projects, mentor technicians, and develop training programs.
• Prepare technical reports and travel to customer sites, including international.
• Oversee inventory and ensure safety compliance.
