Job summary

Eaton's Critical Power Solutions (CPS) is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician to join our customer service team. The role works from a home office with up to 25% travel within the greater Chicago, IL region, and a company vehicle will be provided.

The expected annual salary range is $58,500–$93,499. You will perform on-site emergency repairs, support UPS systems, and provide technical support to customers as an advisor on maintenance of system equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of Power Systems, Battery technologies and/or Electronics experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted State Driver's license.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventive maintenance in an on-call environment with regional responsibility.
• Support UPS systems, power distribution units, and batteries.
• Provide technical support to customers and act as a technical advisor for operational and maintenance aspects of system equipment.
