Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in construction/mining machinery industry.
• GED or High School Diploma required; certifications preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and electrical skills required.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools and shop equipment.
• Proven customer relations and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, services and repairs heavy equipment systems.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and performs repairs.
• Repairs drive components and hydraulic systems as needed.
• Tunes and inspects engines, transmissions, and electrical controls.
• Travels to customer sites and stays overnight.
• Keeps documentation for work performed and safety compliance.
• Promotes safe work environment and adheres to customer rules.
