Job summary

Ziegler CAT in Minnesota is seeking a full-time, experienced Field Service Technician to service heavy diesel trucks, construction, power generation and agricultural equipment. You will troubleshoot, diagnose and repair in the field and at customer sites, delivering top-notch service.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or high school diploma required.
• 5+ years of diesel equipment repair experience, preferably field experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems, electrical, and fuel systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs Caterpillar equipment and other heavy equipment in the area.
• Responds to customer needs promptly; company truck provided.
• Uses professional judgment for safe maintenance and repair of complex equipment.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and a well-kept service vehicle.
• Communicates job status to supervisor and completes work orders.
