Job summary

Ziegler CAT is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician to service heavy diesel equipment including trucks, construction gear, generators, and agricultural machines in Iowa. A strong focus on diagnostics and customer service is required to support our growing client base.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain CAT equipment, respond to service calls, and uphold high safety and quality standards. The role offers comprehensive benefits, PTO, holidays, retirement plans, and ongoing training

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or high school diploma, plus several years of mechanic experience.
• 5+ years of diesel equipment repair experience; field experience preferred.
• Ability to diagnose equipment without supervision and read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair CAT equipment including heavy construction gear and agricultural equipment in the area.
• Respond to customer needs promptly; company vehicle provided.
• Maintain safety and clean work area; ensure service vehicle is well-kept.
