Job summary

You will work independently or with teams, ensuring power systems operate safely and reliably. A strong background in electrical testing, maintenance, and NETA standards is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Eight or more years of experience in electrical testing, maintenance, commissioning, or substation work.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and testing procedures.
• Familiarity with NETA, NFPA 70E, OSHA, DOT, and related industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Field service operations: perform testing, maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs on electrical power equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in substations and power systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Complete service reports, testing documentation, and customer deliverables.
• Support emergency response work and customer outage situations as needed.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, vehicles, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
