Job summary

Cooper Machinery Services is seeking a Field Service Crew Chief to lead a technical team across multiple sites, including workshops and compressor stations. You will be the SME, ensuring equipment testing, safety compliance and high-quality service while coordinating with other departments.

The role requires extensive experience in reciprocating compression, strong leadership, and a willingness to travel 200–300 days annually, with long work hours and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Reciprocating Compression.
• Meets all sublevel (FST I, II, III & IV) requirements.
• Safety focused, service-oriented, business focused.
• Dependable with ability to multi task successfully.
• Professional administrative and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads and serves as the technical expert for an assigned crew.
• Provides technical and mechanical services support to customers in workshops, compressor stations and process plants.
• Supervise quality control processes to track, maintain and improve customer service.
• Ensure pre-task safety crew briefings before operations.
• Plan, implement and manage work assignments for contract.
• Communicate with relevant departments regarding activities.
