Job summary
Honeywell International is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to ensure optimal performance of building automation systems. You will respond to service calls, troubleshoot, and support customers across HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire and security systems.
The role includes travel and on-site work around Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities include independent diagnostics, system programming, backups, and documentation to meet contractual obligations, with opportunities for
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years’ experience with building automation systems (Hardware & Software).
- Experience in preventative maintenance is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair ability.
- Ability to travel across the service area, including overnight stays as needed.
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair complex issues independently.
- Program multiple systems and perform updates/patches.
- Back up systems and install updates as needed.
- Run custom scenarios and integrations for customers.
- Document work performed and fulfill contractual obligations.
- Ensure equipment safety and PPE compliance.
- Coordinate with Field Service Supervisor and support customers.
