Job summary

Satisloh in the United States is seeking a Sr Specialist - Field Service Technician to install, service and repair RX optical machinery across major US cities. You will travel about 80% of the time, work with customers in optical labs, and provide prompt technical support remotely when possible.

This role requires reading hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic schematics, coordinating with the Field Service Manager on scheduling, and maintaining service records and parts documentation.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of mechanical and electrical experience, preferably with ophthalmic equipment.
• High School Diploma required; Technical Degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Valid driver’s license and basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email).
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75-100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain RX optical machinery.
• Read hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Provide technical support to customers on travel and remotely when possible.
• Assist customer service and shipping/receiving with part identification.
• Prepare service work orders and update customer database.
