ABB is hiring a field service technician to work on-site with customers in the Phoenix area, performing installation, commissioning, maintenance, and upgrades of critical power equipment. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely service delivery.

The successful candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering or related technology with several years of experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with 4+ years servicing critical power equipment.
• Associate’s Degree in Electrical Technology with 6+ years servicing critical power equipment.
• High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of equivalent experience in servicing critical power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site with customers to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Perform field service tasks and on-site troubleshooting within certified areas.
• Install, commission, maintain, repair, extend, upgrade, retrofit, and replace equipment.
