Job summary

Garland is seeking a technical service leader in Mayfield Heights, OH. The role provides technical and parts expertise to service techs, agencies, sales, and customers via phone and email, and uses systems to advise on replacements and repairs.

You will help identify repairs from field data and ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive service and clear communication. The position requires a technical degree and at least 4 years in field service, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong technical background with knowledge of gas and electricity
• Ability to read and explain schematics and wiring diagrams
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
• Customer-focused mindset and urgency in meeting commitments
• Experience in field service and repairing equipment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and parts expertise to service techs, agencies, sales and customers via phone and email
• Advise customers on replacement and repair parts information using company systems
• Assist in determining needed repairs using field data and customer input
• Identify and resolve customer complaints regarding quality and delivery of products
• Lead and train teams of service coordinators, field service, and invoicing staff
• Support after-hours on-call rotation and travel as required
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best-in-class service
• Prepare detailed trip reports for travel and field issues
